About Ronald
Ronald Portier is a senior developer and consultant at Open Eye Development. Since 1 July 2026 operating independently after fifteen years at Therp BV, one of the first Odoo implementers in the Netherlands.
He combines deep technical expertise with the awareness that the needs of customers must always come first. He avoids unnecessary complexity and focuses on maintainability.

2026 – present: Open Eye Development
Independent consultant and developer. Odoo, Python, CI/CD, self-hosting.
2011 – 2026: Therp BV (co-owner until 2021)
One of the first Odoo implementers in the Netherlands. Senior developer and consultant for dozens of clients.
2008 – 2011: Open Eye Development (first period)
Independent developer and systems manager. Java, Lotus Domino, IBM AS/400.
1999 – 2006: POV Domino Solutions BV (co-owner)
Technical manager. Lotus Domino, TCP/IP, database optimisations.
